Potato Gratin

Thinly sliced agria potatoes layered with Andfoods Cream and garlic, pressed and grilled until golden, served with crispy sage and toasted hazelnuts.

Potato Gratin

Ingredients

  • 500 gm agria potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 500 ml Andfoods Cream
  • 8 cloves garlic, grated
  • Sea salt and freshly ground pepper

Method

  1. Turn oven on to 180°C.
  2. In a high-sided baking dish, alternate layers of potatoes with cream, garlic and seasoning.
  3. Cover with baking paper, then foil.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes or until soft.
  5. Refrigerate with a weight on top, then turn out and cut into portions.
  6. Place under a grill until golden and hot through.
  7. Serve with crispy sage and toasted hazelnuts.
