Hot Vienna Coffee with Cold Foam
A rich hot chocolate coffee finished with a light, velvety cold foam.
Ingredients
Base
- 150 ml milk of choice (60 to 65 °C)
- 25 to 30 ml chocolate syrup (optional)
- 1 shot espresso
- 5 ml sugar syrup (optional)
Cold Foam
- 60 ml ANDFOODS cream
- 20 ml milk of choice
- 10 ml syrup (optional)
Garnish
- Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings
Method
- Heat milk to 60 to 65 °C.
- Stir in chocolate syrup until fully dissolved.
- Add espresso and mix gently.
- Pour into a cup or heat-resistant glass.
- Froth cold foam ingredients until thick and silky (pourable, not stiff).
- Gently layer the cold foam over the hot drink.
- Finish with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
